Objectives of the trip:
Support preliminary capacity needs assessment of BANCA with regards to coastal and marine
conservation engagement
Identify and consult national and local stakeholders
o Gather relevant data on marine biodiversity, threats and conservation
o Develop a Darwin stage 1 proposal for the 'Building civil society capacity in Myanmar to support
marine conservation' in partnership with BANCA and in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
