Purpose: By drawing on existing expertise from within the South Atlantic UKOTs, this project aims to substantially increase Ascension Island’s marine biodiversity knowledge and fisheries science capacity, informing the development of the Biodiversity Action Plan for marine taxa, and providing the science base needed for sustainably managed inshore and offshore fisheries.
