Summary
BirdLife’s Forest Impact Accelerator will incubate 23 Sustainable Finance Initiatives (SFIs), with 13 reaching full functionality. SFIs will enable implementation of Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) to conserve biodiversity and enable multi-dimensional poverty reduction in 1,000,000 hectares of forest landscapes, comprising Key Biodiversity Areas. The Accelerator will scale up its proven model of technical support, seed funding and peer-to-peer learning. Innovative new features and larger-scale investor and funder match-making will strengthen the impact-driven approach, with a focus on scaling successful SFIs post-project.
