Darwin Initiative Extra Stage 2 Workshops, September 2026

In September and October 2026, we hosted two events as part of the Darwin Initiative Extra Stage 2 workshops, for Round 32 successful applicants that were invited through to Stage 2.

Webinar – Frequently Asked Questions

On Wednesday 30th September, we hosted a webinar for applicants to Darwin Initiative Extra Round 32 that were invited to Stage 2. This webinar introduced Stage 2 applicants to some of the frequently asked questions and common issues relating to eligibility, finance, Flexi-Grant, communications, Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI), and safeguarding requirements. Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to ask other questions.

Workshop – Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL)

On Tuesday 6th October, we hosted an interactive Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) workshop for applicants to Darwin Initiative Extra Round 32 that were invited to Stage 2. Combining presentations and practical exercises, the workshop strengthened participants' understanding of MEL concepts, including logical frameworks (logframes) and Standard Indicators. Participants explored project design tools and approaches for developing robust logframes, with a particular focus on SMART indicators and appropriate means of verification.
