• Meet representatives of all key stakeholder groups, including key staff from the Government of Turkmenistan responsible for biodiversity conservation and research, and members of the local communities that live and work close to the Koytendag State Nature Reserve
• Develop a shared concept for research, management, promotion and sustainable use of Koytendag within a logical framework
• Create a joint research project plan to be delivered by a joint Turkmen/International team with associated roles and responsibilities and a management planning process within a Darwin Stage 1 application for submission in Round 20;
• Meet Reserve Management staff and local Community Stakeholders that live and work in and around the existing Nature Reserve to begin building relationships for project design and delivery
