Summary
The purpose of the scoping award is to use those funds to visit the museum and the local organizations for 7 days to identify local grassroots organizations (i.e. Capitania del Alto y Bajo Izozog) as partners for the successful implementation of this project. During this visit Cranfield Personnel (H.L. Perotto-Baldivieso and A.B. Gill) and Museum staff will meet with local authorities and grassroots organization representatives to identify and prioritize strategies for conservation in the region. Following the meetings, the museum and Cranfield staff will identify the key partners and collaborators, discuss research, capacity building, and training priorities for the development and implementation of the PECARI project.
