Summary
We are requesting scoping funding to bring experts from the UK, South Africa and Malawi together to review the work that has been carried out on the Mulanje cedar to date, and to determine whether new knowledge can be brought to bear on the problem. Only then will we know if this project is likely to succeed. A positive outcome will result in an application to the Darwin Initiative Round 17.
Darwin Initiative Round 32 is now open for applications! A new round of funding to support ambitious projects delivering impact for biodiversity and communities.
From scaling successful approaches to strengthening locally led conservation, explore key lessons shared by projects working on the front line of biodiversity action.
