Summary
We propose to use the scoping award to fund Bryony Tolhurst to spend 10 days in June 2009 meeting with Santa Lucía and other selected communities, and CBE and PUCE scientists. During these meetings the need for the project will be more fully defined, core competencies of project partners will be identified and potential roles agreed. We expect to conclude the series of meetings by drawing up a draft logical framework, which will be transposed into a Stage 1 application to be submitted to the Darwin Initiative in September 2009.
