Summary
he main elements of the visit will be
1) To establish a working relationship between the Provincial Department of Agriculture & Forestry; the Forestry Research Centre, Vientiane; Institute of Ecological and Biological Research in Vietnam and the RBG Kew, in order to discuses the different operational responsibilities of the various institutions within this project.
2) To investigate how the various institutes strengths can be best mobilised to support the project.
3) To investigate the skill base present and the availability of relevant equipment for the project, and to suggest a training program to be included in the final Darwin project.
