Summary
This project addresses the need to strengthen conservation of plant diversity in Latin America. It aims to enhance the newly established seed bank in Bolivia, create a new one in Guatemala, and improve Colombia’s seed bank capabilities. Key activities include capacity building, and knowledge exchange among these seed banks. A collaborative Native Seed Bank Network will be created to bolster plant conservation efforts by sharing knowledge with local communities to support ecological restoration and promote sustainable livelihoods in the region.
