To support ongoing practical conservation of biodiversity in DRC at five World Heritage Sites (Garamba NP, Kahuzi-Biega NP, Okapi NP, Salonga NP and Virunga NP) with special emphasis on Garamba National Park
Production of training manual and summary sheets for all sites.
Train 4 patrol leaders, who will then train 40 park guards.
Provide training in law enforcement training and monitoring at each of five World Heritage sites.
Publish 4 papers in peer reviewed journals.
MSc courses by 2 Congolese Wildlife Research and Management officers.
Establish law enforcement and biodiversity monitoring training mobile unit in Garamba.
Present results at conferences.
