Through technical inputs and capacity building, to enable the local people of TCI to develop a biodiversity management plan and to initiate a viable sustainable programme of development based on eco-tourism.
Produce 5 project newsletters.
Form the Middle Caicos Biodiversity Management Committee.
Train local people in biodiversity surveying (insects, higher plants, birds, bats, herpetiles).
Produce 5 manuals relating to identification, classification and recording of above groups, and environmental education training materials.
Collect baseline biodiversity data.

Establish a reference collection for insects and plants.
Training in management planning methods and production of draft management plan.
