Summary
In Kenya's Amboseli ecosystem, challenges such as overgrazing, climate change, and changing land ownership practices have led to land degradation, reduced livestock productivity, and food insecurity, disproportionately affecting women. To address these challenges, Justdiggit and the Amboseli Ecosystem Trust are partnering on a restoration project to restore 15,000 hectares of land. The project focuses on women-led seed banks, rainwater harvesting, and sustainable land management to empower women, improve
livelihoods, and enhance biodiversity for a sustainable future.
