Project Outputs
Outputs Acquisition of extensive baseline aquatic biodiversity and water quality data across hydroperiod gradients in OD. Development of robust Indices of Biological Integrity (IBIs), sensitive to hydroperiod Development of future scenarios of OD flood frequency, extent and duration and biodiversity response Establishment of on-going systematic biodiversity monitoring programme based on identified IBIs. Dissemination of results. Training programme for staff at HOORC/IC & Botswana students completed. Relationship of project to CBD established through ODMP initiatives.
