Purpose:To enhance the capacity of the Gabonese government to manage the bushmeat trade to maximise long-term wildlife survival as well as the sustainability of local traditional livelihoods
Nation-wide data on the volume, economics and geographic distribution of the bushmeat trade available to policy makers. Training module for ENEF established. Policy oriented training relevant to managing the bushmeat trade completed by ENEF students. Research results communicated to policy makers and public. Posters, leaflets and videos produced nationally and internationally that report research results and contemporary policy
