Purpose: The goal of the project is for local school teachers and children to become aware of the importance of their native flora and forests and to understand the necessity of using plants sustainably, with the ultimate aim of creating and strengthening grass roots support for biodiversity conservation efforts in Tamil Nadu and to safeguard the remarkable and diverse flora and vegetation of this Indian state.
