Project Summary:
To develop a computerised automated identification system for one group of common insects.
Project Outputs:
Digital Automated Identification of Insects (DAISY) developed and installed at the Universidad de Costa Rica and the Natural History Museum, UK; 2 taxonomic monographs; 3 insect reference collections enhanced including new species; 3 scientific papers; 4 undergraduates trained; other training in preparation of wing slides; DAISY web site – http://chasseur.usc.edu/pups/projects/daisy.html
