Project Outputs
Hold workshop to review and update Sapo NP management plan. Train 20 people in conservation management planning. Produce Sapo NP management plan. Train 20 field staff in ecological monitoring techniques. Establish 20 transects. Produce a set of training materials. Publish papers in journals. Produce documents to assist in work related to species identification, classification and recording. Establish database on wildlife findings (density, distribution, seasonal variations etc.). Produce species-based rapid assessment index of ecological integrity and conservation worthiness. Organise a 1-day workshop to develop an ecological assessment index.
