Project Summary:
To bring together for the first time information from Russia, Kazakhstan and Mongolia on the distribution and habitats of the rare and endemic flora of the whole of the Altai region, and identify threats to their preservation, in order to develop strategic, cross-border approaches to biodiversity conservation.

Trained scientists, students, local authority staff; scientific book on Altai endemics; journal papers; herbarium and photographic collections; web site; reports; databases; GIS maps; species and habitat action plans
