Summary

1.Develop a grant proposal face-to-face with existing WWF Network partners and leaders of communities of Kosh-Agach (Altai Republic) and Mongun-Taiga District (Tuva Republic). 2.Discuss the viability of low-cost community-based monitoring programmes and species oriented income generation schemes. 3.Begin to evaluate the possibility of developing Community Trust as a multifunctional tool for poverty alleviation, sustainable community development and conservation of endangered species. 4.Discuss the opportunities of community-based scientific and ecological tourism development in the habitats of the Snow Leopard and Altai Argali with Biosphere Expedition and other potential partners. 5.Scope out how to apply WTA's Action Competence Methodology to local Community Action Planning.
