Objectives: The scoping award will enable the GCP to visit the field site and assess the feasibility of the project through consultation with host country partners. These discussions will also help to elaborate: 1. The goals, objectives and activities of a Main project and build a logical framework 2. Determine more precisely the roles each institution would play and how UK expertise could help to build-capacity on top of their existing skills and expertise 3. Make contact with any additional potential local partners, identified through discussions with core partners 4. Conduct a SWOT analysis of the proposed project 5. Produce a project budget and identify other sources of potential funding (in addition to the Darwin Initiative)
