Summary
To reduce and ultimately end deforestation in the Bismarck Mountains of PNG, strengthen local livelihoods, and conserve biological and cultural diversity, this project will improve agricultural practices, implement sustainable forestry and silviculture, reduce hunting pressure on threatened species, and retain and pass on traditional ecological knowledge to the next generation.
