The Darwin Initiative is a UK government grants scheme that helps to protect biodiversity and the natural environment through locally based projects worldwide.
Under Round 28 a total of 62 projects were awarded under the Darwin Initiative.
This includes 31 Darwin Initiative Main projects, 5 Darwin Initiative Extra projects, 16 Capability & Capacity and 10 Innovation projects under the newly introduced schemes.
