DARWIN INITIATIVE CALL FOR SCOPING AND FELLOWSHIP APPLICATIONS: ROUND 20

The Darwin Initiative (opportunities to scope out an application or to consider additional training for an outstanding team member)

The Darwin Initiative supports projects in developing countries and is co-funded by two UK Government Departments: the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and the Department for International Development (DFID).

Current application round Defra is currently inviting applications for:

  • Darwin Initiative Scoping awards; and
  • Darwin Fellowship awards

Projects will be expected to commence after 1 June 2014.

Guidance and application forms New guidance notes and forms for these funds are available on the Darwin website at http://darwin.defra.gov.uk/apply. Please ensure you read them thoroughly as they contain updated information relevant to eligibility and assessment criteria. The documents can also be made available in large print on request. Please ensure that you read the guidance carefully and complete the forms accordingly – word counts and provision of supporting documentation will be strictly enforced.
