Summary

The project impact (long term) will be the protection of terrestrial and marine habitats for their biodiversity and ecosystem services, through comprehensive protected area networks in Anguilla and the Cayman Islands. The projects outcome will be the enhanced institutional capacity of government agencies and civil society and the development and management of networks of protected areas to assure the long-term, climate change-adapted survival of Anguilla’s and the Cayman Islands’ most valuable and threatened species, habitats, and ecosystems services whilst, providing opportunities to residents and visitors to learn, enjoy, and celebrate each territory’s biodiversity and ecological heritage.
