Purpose: To create biodiversity documentation systems for the living plant collections of botanic gardens and to train staff in their use.
Outputs: A coordination & monitoring centre established linking 50 botanic gardens www.bgci.org.ru ; support service established; new software and key texts in Russian produced for managing biodiversity collections; over 300 people trained in information systems and biodiversity documentation; 3 model computer system set up in FSU organisations; 75 Institutions received computer software.
