Purpose: DESCRIPTION: This project is evaluating whether health investments have led to gorilla conservation and sustainable development outcomes. Results from the evaluation will be used to expand the integrated health and conservation approach to a mountain national park and by another conservation NGO working with great apes in a forest reserve. PURPOSE: The role of primary health care in conservation management is understood and strengthened, in order to improve conservation and poverty outcomes in Uganda.
