DESCRIPTION: This project will work with work with local communities, NGOs and governmental agencies to facilitate the implementation of the Nagoya Protocol, the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture, and Convention on Biological Diversity through in situ and ex situ conservation of crop wild relatives in Mesoamerica.
PURPOSE: Priority CWR in their centre of diversity in four Mesoamerican countries conserved in situ and ex situ, so supporting obligations to the Nagoya Protocol, the ITPGRFA and the CBD
