Purpose: To re-establish effective capacity, systems, management and motivation for the conservation of the endangered Greater one-horned rhinoceros and the Terai grassland habitat in Nepal.
Outputs: a) Improved capacity and systems to monitor rhinos and for anti-poaching. b) Improved biological management of rhino populations and habitat. c) Community support and improved benefits. Less human-rhino conflict. d) Better governance, science based conservation, stakeholder integration. e) Publications and publicity.
